Levels generally start rising again around March 1st each year. During the off-season, water depth at docks and boat slips may be lower during that time, than shown in summer photos.

Loved our Stay
We loved our stay at Hooked on a Feeling. The cabin had a great vintage feel, but had everything we needed for a four-night stay. We brought our kayaks and loved the easy put-in and take-out at either the stairs or dock. I had to reach out to the property manager about a minor issue and their response was immediate. We definitely hope to stay in this cabin again.

Modest Amenities, Perfect Location
Hooked On A Feeling is an older property that lacks a few amenities such as a dishwasher and washer/drier. Also, the A/C in the den struggled a bit to keep up with the heat of July. Some folks might consider that "charm". But to be fair to the property, the outdoor setup was great; charcoal grill, table and chairs, canoe, kayaks, dock with ladder into the water, and more. What was forfeited in creature comforts, though, was balanced by the perfect location of the home. Hooked On A Feeling is situated with open lake on one side and a peaceful cove on another. The cove is perfect for swimming and kayaking. A small sandbar located directly across the cove is a fantastic place to play in shallow water, particularly for children. The open-lake views produced beautiful scenes at dusk and dawn. The home is located within a mile or so of a boat ramp for those who bring boats with them. The booking procedure, check-in, and check-out were clear and simple. The property manager communicated excellently and was as helpful as she could have been. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will likely return in the future.

The place was great. My only “complaint” would be that there were no working lights on the dock.

For me it was the nostalgia feeling. Almost like spending summers with your grandparents. It’s cute and cozy. would book again.
Loved Everything
Loved everything about this home and location, thoughtfulness of amenities and extras-dock-cornhole-kayaks etc etc etc— Only ONE suggestion—I would recommend getting a Facebook marketplace SOFA —love the 60s feel of the one there but it is uncomfortable and scratchy. We were not inside much-which is most likely why it isn’t more comfortable because if your staying here you came for the outdoors-☺️-but it rained one day so we were inside and that’s when my teens commented on it. Everything else prefect for us! Thank you thank you thank you. Don’t ever sell it and we will be back.😊
